I am not changing my prices at all. It doesnt matter to me what the state charges for there end. But for me to be at least respectable about it to cover my overhead and make a little bit of profit I can not really go lower then 35 a person and thats if I get a decent sized class. If I do go real low I have to make up for it via mass sized classrooms, which I feel is a dis-service to the students. I like 10-15 students per class tops. I figure I charge an honest rate, I make much less an hour doing this then my real job and sometimes its a hit or miss on whether I just break even, loss money or make a profit.
I charge 45 a student but I also have discounts and coupons one can find on ksl and UCC fliers etc. So If I get half a class at full price and half at a lower it balances out.
I say let the free market figure it out.
