It really depends on how/what you're planning to carry, but I like many of Galco's holsters -- and they're sold just about everywhere that guns are. Depending on which gun you buy, you might have to order one online, but they make them for the majority of popular firearms. Where ever you buy your gun, you should be able to find a good Galco holster.
One other holster maker I would stay away from is Tagua Gun Leather. The leather they use is sufficient, but the belt clips they use are just waaaay too cheap to be effective (at least on their IWB holsters).
I've said this before, but I never understood why people skimp on holsters. I see people spend good money (sometimes a LOT of money) on carry guns, and then expect a $10-dollar holster from Wal-mart to do the trick. Spend the money to get a holster that works. It's worth every penny.

Is there a readily available, not horribly priced, alternative that would be an ok substitute until the real thing arrives? I don't mind having multiple holsters, in fact, I think having a few to choose from is a good idea. I know to avoid Uncle Mikes. Is there something I can walk into a store and buy?
Thanks for any suggestions.
I am switching over to a glock 19 for my edc, so i am a big fan of it. Sigs are great guns, but I think it might be a little heavy for carry, thats a personal call. As for holsters, i like the crossbreed or concealment solutions.
