Going to a Real Soccer Game tonight

Postby Doctor Jenks » Tue 23 Oct 2012 6:05 pm

Has anybody CC'd to a REAL Soccer game recently? Do they have metal detectors, wands, or any type of TSA style full body violation er.. Screening?

I didn't know you were planning on going to a game. You should have said something. Have fun.

Soccer is fake, but WWF is the real thing. :D

So how did the game turn out, and how was security there?

As opposed to a fake football game (that would be the American kind...where strangely enough only one person on the team ever hits the ball with their foot)

The game was rainy and cold, and and the final score was 0-0. Which was boring and reminded me why I usually hate watching soccer. The rules are written in such a way that makes scoring MUCH too difficult. That said, I still had a lot of fun. The crowd gets really into the game; they get dismayed and yell about every bad call (supposedly) and missed shot. I found it entertaining.

As far as security, there was no problem CC'ing. No metal detectors, or other searches going on anywhere that I could see. I just handed them my ticket and found my seat. Just as it should be. :crown:
