I have a Savage MKII with a seized muzzle device. Could use a the help of a gunsmithing pro.

Probably not as close as you would like, but The Armory in Sandy has a gunsmith. He's done some work on our guns.

Maybe they need a laxative.

No one should make decisions for us when it comes to guns and gun carry. If we do things we're not comfortable with because someone told us it's 'right' it becomes a distraction in an event where clarity and simplicity is needed.

Probably don't want it to break TOO free, at least not unexpectedly.

But back on topic, I'm sure there are other gunsmiths out there, but none that I've worked with. I really liked Crusader's work, but he moved to Texas.

I think TNT has a reputable gunsmith? Or, there's always Cabela's in Lehi?

I forgot about this, but I bought a crush washer at Ready Gunner in Orem recently, and they offered to help me put it on (and I didn't even buy the muzzle brake from them). So, I don't know if they have an official gunsmith, but you could ask if they can help you.

I've only been in their new Orem store a couple of times (and only once when they were in Provo), but they've always been helpful and seemed to know what they were doing.

FWIW
It's not about the odds, it's about the stakes.
