Since my wife works for Wally World, with the 10% discount, I'd get that box for just over $400. Wish I had the change laying around for it....

If anybody needs 22lr, rangemasters in springville has quite a bit of the lead american eagle stuff. $4 a box of 50 or $40 per 500 really isn't all THAT bad. Especially when I think of Discount Guns and Ammo which is selling 500 round boxes for $70.

It's bad when you remember that the same amount of .22 was $22 before all this crap happened.

$400 +-, not bad for a 1000 rounds, hopefully there's not a primer crimp.

I don't go to "Discount" any more, as the name is false advertising, and I was taken advantage of big time in a brass deal last winter. The Provo guys are not straight shooters in my opinion.

I've managed to score a total of 850 rounds of various 22LR over two consecutive Saturdays at various stores in the area. In total, I probably paid $50~$55. It's out there. You just have to get lucky. This brings my total stock to 2000ish, NONE of which will be sold. I plan to take my wife shooting. :D

Does anybody have a box of federal 550 bulk pack they'd sell me?
My grandpa is looking for a box to take my nieces and nephews out shooting and I'm wondering if anybody could help us out?

The stores I know only have the lead ammo, he was hoping for some copper plated stuff that won't jam in his 10/22.

Lots of TulAmmo BrassMaxx and Winchester Whitebox at the West Valley Walmart at 35th and 56th. Tul was $22 per 100. didn't price the winchester. I was looking for some 38 Spec for my dad but apparently they haven't had any 38 spec in a very long time.

Our Richfield Wally Mart has the same 150 round boxes. I picked one up thinking it would be Federal brass. Turns out to be Lake City Arsenal ammo green tip. It shoots good but still a primer crimp. It is good plinking ammo. The muzzle velocity exceeds the note on the box just a bit in my AR. A neat reusable box too.

Scheels (Sandy) 22LR
Winchester M-22 40 gr BCPRN (Black Copper Plated Round Nose) 1255 fps
500 round boxes—$30 (6c per round)
Only allowed one box per customer.
They probably had at least a dozen or so left this evening (10/15) but I'll bet they'll be gone by tomorrow evening.
