When I was a Boy Scout, my dad and I enjoyed shooting .22 rifles. Years later, my dad and brothers decided to pick up handgun shooting and each purchased a handgun, got CWPs, and took a Front Sight course in Vegas. After shooting theirs at a range and enjoying it, I picked up a Springfield XD-9 4" Service pistol. It's been a neat experience, but aside from the basic rules of safety, I still feel like I haven't learned and mastered grip basics, posture, and a lot more. I found this forum as I went looking for sources to help me, and am glad to be here. I am eager to learn and am grateful for kind and willing individuals who are just as eager to help. Thanks, in advance, for all of your thoughts, instruction, and support. I look forward to getting to know you all better.
