So this past Saturday I walked out the door from Dougs with a Taurus 1911 Doutone slide with the marine colored frame and attachment rail for $630 out the door. I like the look and feel of the gun, the trigger pull and the price for all the extras that come stock on a Taurus etc. I already know I will be purchasing some custom sights from Dawson Precision and more then likely some sort of custom grip's from Hogues. I know I could have gotten a standard just blued without rail for probably $550 but I liked this one. I already have the serpa holster for it but probably wont be packing it much for OC or CC, more then likely sticking to my 9mm and 380 auto for backup or real deep concealment, both are Taurus's as well and my reviews are on this board already for those.
Sunday I got to fire it out by Utah Lake, put 100 round through it. No issues what so ever and even with the stock sights very nice accuracy. Its smooth as butter so far, When I get 500+ rounds down the barrel I will update this with more details and comments, thus far though very satisfied.http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/171/img0102vo.jpg/
