So I bought my Bersa 2 weeks ago to be my cc weapon( still waiting for permit) and decided to take my new bride to go and try it out. Since it was the first time I was going to shoot it I gave it a quick cleaning and went to the range. I had Planned to just shoot 50 rounds, but it turned into 150; more on that later. So we got to the range and got all set up. For my first shot I ran my full size silhouette target to the end of the range to take my first shot. I aimed for the middle of the head, about eye level and I hit about chin level and a little left. The sights aren't very tall and thats fine because its meant for cIose range shooting. Also I don't ever plan on having to shoot that far but it was nice to it's pretty capable. Also the recoil on this little pistol is slim to none. I was very happy about that, not that recoil bothers me, but my wife would be able to shoot comfortably. She's only 5 ft tall and 105 pounds soakin wet! After that first shot I ran it out to about 25 feet and unloaded the gun. (one in the hole and 7 in the mag.) I'm super impressed with the accuracy. I shot relatively fast and I put all my round within the size of a softball.I don't claim to be the best shot but I'm pretty good and I was really happy with it. Also the low recoil allows for a quick reset to your target. So I let my wife shoot a clip, she was pretty scared at first cause the only gun shed ever shot before was a S&W 50 cal. Snub nose and that gun scared her to death, hurt her hands and put a sour taste in her mouth about guns. I assured her it wasn't going to be that way, and she. Went thru the clip. She was pleasantly surprised. Her shots were scattered but all on the page. She was happy with the way it fit in her hand, and the little recoil. We put 50 rounds thru the bersa without one malfunction. Also after taking my time and really aiming I was putting my groups within a tennisball. This gun shoots straight and is really accurate. I was ready to go but my wife wasn't, which made me happy. So I sent her upstairs to get another box and she came back with two and some more targets! We put 100 more rounds thru it and we didn't have one malfunction, not one stove pipe, nothing! All in all in really happy with this pistol. It's easy to clean and stayed accurate after gettin hot from all the rounds. Easy to take apart and reassemble. Easy to clean. The magazine safety is a little annoying but other than that I have no complaints. 9.5 stars outta 10!
