We are now offering CeraKote coatings at Crusader. We did some for a specific customer and loved it. It had to stay as a normal part of our services. We're still working on the CeraKote page so more info will be up there soon.
It looks like the CeraKote out-performed DuraCoat in independent testing, but I'd like to hear some first-hand reviews before I consider it, since it seems more expensive than DuraCoat. Has anyone used it in a "real-world" environment for an extended period of time?
Cerakote really is much tougher than duracoat. It has the same texture as duracoat with matte clear coat. The visible difference is that cerakote doesn't need clear coat. It's already matte. Prep work is a lot more intense but the cerakote itself is a pleasure to work with.
