This is one of three built. If you want something unique and will shoot like a rocket, this is it. The Mauser 98 F.N made in Belgium bolt action was built in 1957. The rifle was built two years ago. The action has only fired 20 rounds. It was lengthened to fire a 8mm necked to a 30 caliber. The barrel is a 24" Schelin with a 1-10 twist plus a muzzle brake.Breach pressure 62-65k. Blackburn trigger guard. Uses Weatherby loading data and will shoot 300 Rem. mags and 300 Weatherby. Synthetic stock. no sight but drilled for scope mounts. Valued at $1500 asking $1200. Excellent condition. call Dennis xxx-xxx-xxxx
This is a Japanese Meiji, Type 38, Rifle, re-bored to a 300 Savage. It is off-handedly referred to as the carbine of the Arisaka rifle and was originally a 6.5mm.
