Does anyone ever have a reluctance to sell any of there firearms? By any means I don't have a large collection, but I have a few handguns that I really don't shoot. Every time I think about selling them, I quickly change my mind for some reason.
There are maybe a couple I wish I still had. I usually only sell one if I want another and don't have the money for it. Then the one that doesn't get used often gets sold. There has been 1 or 2 I had to sell to get money. I miss the .44 Mag. I'll get another some day. I try not to sell though, unless I need to.
A few years ago I sold a Ruger .357. Regretted it so much I went and bought another one within the week! (Good thing is the new one came with a laser grip and was a little cheaper than the one I sold.)
I have sold and traded others to get guns I didn't have and have always had a twinge of regret. My son laughs at me when I tell him I'm going to sell a gun.
I sold a Springfield MicroCompact 1911 and have really regretted it although I seldom shot it. I guess I get that from my childhood days when I was offered a $1000 for an old grade horse that was worth $150 at most. I turned it down. I didn't even know the guy was just having a good time with me.
