I took my daughters out shooting yesterday with some interesting results. First they shot the glock 19 .
My 14 year old can't close one eye for some reason and was having problems at first aquiring the target until I covered one eye for her. The other problem was feeding issues , We fixed that by her holding the grip more firm. Eventually she hit the paper ,and then the black.
My 12 year old daughter had similar feeding issues until I held the gun with her, she was funny because she screamed after each shot.
Then my sixteen year old shot. Dang !!!! All 10 shots in a 3 inch pattern at 20 feet.
Then we shot the ar-15 RRA at 25 meters. They were all surprised with the shock wave of air and the loudness, but equally shocked on the ease of shooting it. The twelve year old still screamed after each shot.
All in all they enjoyed a few hours west of the utah lake shooting for the first time, learning gun saftey, and wondering why so much garbage was left there by other shooters.
