[Ruger Collector]

I found this nostalgic setup at Sportsman's Guide. I thought it would be great for open carry occasions. It's really well made, with thick leather like the belts from Tandy. The 1911 and 2x8rd mags fit perfectly. It only comes in one size though: "fits up to 50" waist" it adjusts down to a 44... But with a single hole from my leather punch I made it also fit a 34.

Yeah, it's just for show. Events like open carry meets, gun shows, historical reenactments, stuff like that.

Man that is one nice rig. The holster takes me back to my old service days. Over in Nam I cut the flap off of my holster, for quicker use. May get one for my 1911.
