He was certainly a great advocate for gun rights. When I heard the news, I couldn't help but think about his "cold, dead hands" declaration.

This is really sad. He's been one of my favorite actors since I was a little kid watching "Treasure Island." And it's great that he stood up for gun rights so boldly.
