I am a former competition rifle shooter, until my aiming eye went bad -- a cyst over the center on the retina -- I couldn't see the target on top of the front sight -- so I got into pistol shooting. It was then that I decided that I'd get my CFP. Fortunately, I've never had to use my pistol to avert a threat, but as we all know, nobody knows when that might happen. May we all never have to use our concealed weapon in defence.

What kind of long range shooting did you do and what calibers/rifles did you use? I am not a long range shooter but I love learning about all the shooting sports.
