Scary experience, for sure.

I've thought about what I would do in a similar situation, and it's hard to say. You would have been justified in shooting him, no questions asked. I don't know if I could live with myself if I did that. I wouldn't want him to just take off and possibly never be caught, though. I might hold him at gunpoint on the floor till the cops came, but again... you just never know till you're there.
