But it beats being a sheeple. :D

I have had my Utah CFP for about 10 months now, but grew up around guns. I first got it as part of a job requirement as that was the only way my wife would allow it (still working on converting her). I have been lurking on a few different sites learning as much as I can and attending as many advanced classes as I can afford to improve my knowledge and skills. I am 24 and live in Utah County. I enjoy anything outdoors, especially rock crawling and digging in addition to the given...shooting... And whish I had more time and money to spend on both. I sold all my guns after getting married (what can I say, love makes you do stupid things sometimes) and am now slowly trying to build my supply back up, but with a new baby and a house its progressing more slowly than I would like. I attended college in Oregon (where I grew up) and now work as a life safety engineer.

Cash flow being tight but not wanting to be without protection any longer I picked myself up a Hi-point 9mm compact. It’s not bad for plinking at the range, but kind of big and bulky for carry, but since it is what I have it is what I carry. I figured for $79 new I couldn’t go wrong since it has a lifetime warranty. I am currently saving up for a Glock 23, nice balance of power/size/capacity and should have it by Christmas. After that it will be a shotgun followed by a hunting rifle then a 22 in either rifle or pistol form for fun while camping.
