I'm considering replacing an A2 with a A3 flat-top. How long does that operation take? I found a deal on a bare A3 upper for $89 at CDNN.. How is the head-spacing measured?

It takes a little while to get the pins, springs, dust cover, ect moved over. You have to have a head space gauge to check head space. Bring it in and I'll take care of it for you.

A really long punch for the dust cover pin. That is about all you need to do it, course the tools will cost but you get to reuse them; although I am certain Joe has all this stuff.
