Hello Everyone,
I am Bane's Wife. He's been telling me a ton about this site and also how there is now a Ladies Only forum. So, I thought I'd join too so I can learn more about concealed carrying from other people doing it especially women.
My husband introduced me to guns a few years back. It started as just going shooting when we didn't own a gun. I took a 1 day women's shooting class. I got to shoot a bunch of different types of guns. That was very interesting.
My husband got his first gun last year and I got my own a few months ago. I really didn't want to carry one but then it just clicked one day that I really needed to protect myself. I had an incident at work once where a drunk man came in to my work and cornered me when the rest of my co-workers were outside having a smoke break. Luckily, at the last second he turned around and left. I don't want to ever be in that situation again especially without protection. I would not have been able to fight off that guy on my own.
Thanks for being here! I'm excited to meet people at the bbq on Thursday.
