·The Knoxx Special Ops Stock is awesome! Between the super tacticool name and the outrageous claims I wrote them off, until a friend said they work. As far as the low recoiling trap or field loads are concerned I don't notice the difference between the recoil of the two let alone the difference the stock makes. An adjustable LOP for junior along with some recoil reduction maybe, but, like many avid shooters the perception of recoil is not the same as is a young or less experienced shooter. If it works let me know.
Here is how I rate the difference in in recoil on mossberg 500 with various ammo.
Trap and field loads................................................... :dunno:
"Tactical" loads (reduced recoil).................. ...................Feels about like a field load noticeable reduction and If my wallet would let me, I could shoot all day.
Regular hunting full high brass 2&3/4................................To me feels around the same maybe less than a "tactical" load
The hot stuff 3in magnum slugs and 15 pellet 00 buck............This is the most extreme difference of all and the hotter the load the more the difference it felt in-between a "tactical" and full 2&3/4 load with a definite bend towards tactical.
I am moving over to the hotter federal load with flite control wads and stocking up on the 3in mags
Negatives
Cost, around $130.00
Positives
Less recoil, faster follow up shots, reduced flinch factor and or MORE POWER (Tim Tailor type grunts) OOOH OOH OH!
Over all from duck hunter to swat team I say get this stock!!!
Pictures forthcoming

- It is not mentioned until you open th package but, they want you to keep your cheek weld on the collapsible portion of the stock (M4 style butplate and extention)
They don't include the 1/4 or 3/8 ball end long hex wrench needed for instillation so if you don't have it it *** to cost and pain in the butt factors.
Fit around the trigger guard could be better.
