Boycott List:
Add this to the boycott list. 7-11 don’t shop there or buy gas from them.
7-11 is owned by Southland Corporation. South Land is dedicated to abolishing the 2nd amendment. Every year South Land gives financial aid and support to bills limiting the 2nd amendment and to political candidates that support gun control.
I haven’t been in a 7-11 for more than 10 years due to this policy.

It is, in fact, a good idea to provide links to support any assertions made in a forum. Please back up what you say.
I don't have a link. But the fact that they sell Citgo gas which helps to finance Hugo Chavez's anti-U.S.A. rhetoric is good enough for me.

I won't argue with that! That is precisely why I don't buy gas at 7-11.

However, I'd like to have a source for that information about Southland Corporation funding anti-gun bills. If that is verified, I'll be very happy to spread this call for boycott further.

FWIW, Pink Pistols does not list Southland Corp on its' list of anti-gun companies whereas GOA does.

Before I refuse to patronize a company that's accused of being anti-gun, I'd like to know exactly what they've done that is anti-gun so that I can make up my own mind on the issue.

From the About 7-Eleven page on their corporate web site, I found that 7-Eleven and Southland Corporation are the same company:
...
The company's corporate name was changed from The Southland Corporation to 7-Eleven, Inc. in 1999.
Then on the SCOPE website (listed by Cinhil above), there is the following:
Anti-Gun Corporations/Corporate Heads

The following listing includes the most prominent national corporations that have lent their corporate support to gun control initiatives or taken position supporting gun control. Courtesy of the NRA-ILA & SCOPE

Misinformed Moms March - Sponsors
They removed their page: http://www.millionmommarch.com/html/mar ... nsors.html, but we saved the list.

That's confirmation for me! BTW, you can find Southland Corporation directly on NRA-ILA's Fact Sheet:
National Organizations With Anti-Gun Policies

The following organizations have lent monetary, grassroots or some other type of direct support to anti-gun organizations. In many instances, these organizations lent their name in support of specific campaigns to pass anti-gun legislation such as the March 1995 HCI "Campaign to Protect Sane Gun Laws." Many of these organizations were listed as "Campaign Partners," for having pledged to fight any efforts to repeal the Brady Act and the Clinton "assault weapons" ban. All have officially endorsed anti-gun positions.

Not that I cared for 7-Eleven in the first place, and certainly don't buy their communist gasoline, but this will absolutely keep me out of 7-Eleven stores henceforth.

Good call...
