Thanks for taking point on this endeavour - I know it's not an easy task - but it will be very rewarding!

Now, I just need to convince my wife to go

Will someone be bringing a nice clay thrower?

I have a cheapo thrower that you mount into the ground (three legs). Only shoots one clay at a time, but I could bring it if needed.
Here's what mine looks like:

Cool, I don't have to worry about bringing mine (pounding it into the ground can be a pain). I would say having at least 2 throwers would be a good idea. Also, just curious, but why a Sat-Sun campout? Is it because people work late on Friday? I won't be able to camp out Sat night as we have Church in the morning, so I was just curious. Either way, I am still hoping to make it to the dinner and shoot.

You know, it has nothing to do with communing with our Lord in nature - something I agree with, but more to do with my calling. My wife and I have people who rely on us and it wouldn't be fair to them just so I could have a good time out in the brush. I was just curious, I don't want to rock the boat. I will try to be there Saturday at least. :angel:

Sorry to hear about getting kicked out of your place, that's terrible. The way the market is, foreclosure is becoming all too common. I have family down in Monroe who both work in Richfield, it's a nice place to live if you don't mind the small town atmosphere - I'm a big city kind of guy (Salt Lake is too small for me). I understand and I really do feel bad for him. But, at the same time it can't be that hard to make your payments when someone else is paying them for you.

Anyone who wants to head out Friday, the 13th feel free. Enough people have contacted me asking if I can set things up for the 13th too. So anyone who wants to come out for friday-saturday and/or sunday can. I will have signs out on the 13th and will be out there already (about 1-2pm is when the signs will be up). Official activities will still be on the 14th-15th

What does that say? I can't read the HUGE, RED FONT!!! :ROFL:

I wish I could, we'll have to see. I think I might be heading down to Utah County (yes, I know, that's where I said was too far away :lolbang: ) for the weekend. Gotta love Provo Canyon and Sundance!

P.S. swillden, I would love to come otherwise. Were it not for gas prices, a pregnant wife (who would kill me!) and millions of items on my Honey-Do list, I would be there in a heartbeat! Have a great time!
