Well, to all of those who were not able to make it to the camp out, you missed a great time! :crown:

We met great people, ate good food, enjoyed gorgeous weather, rode some trails, laughed a lot by the camp fire, and we even managed to shoot a few rounds! Okay, it was more like a few hundred...er, thousand? Who really knows...

A special thanks to xmirage2kx for setting up the time and place.

Pictures to come soon...

I forgot my camera, So I am forced to leave posting pictures to others that went. We had slightly smaller numbers than predicted, but there were still quite a few of us. The weather was great, company was great, and the shooting was great too :D

For all that didn't show we had a great time, you missed out! Pictures will be posted after awhile. SO who is volunteering to do July's event? (NOT ME)...To busy. I vote for another camping trip in August or September, possibly in Strawberry or the Uintas. What does meeting at a park or some place for July sound like, maybe a potluck or barbecue? Just a thought or an idea. :party3:

Now that sounds good, not only great food but the kids or grand kids can go nuts.

Thanks for posting! Looks like you had a great time. Next time, let's do one a little further north :lol2:

Is this far enough north for you? :D

If anyone wants to come up this weekend (I'll be there Friday through Tuesday), I'll drag you around the lake. It's in the Curlew National Grasslands, which is administered by the Forest Service, so carry is legal.

Wait... I thought this was UtahConcealedCarry.com, am I perhaps on IdahoConcealedCarry.com???

I wish I could, we'll have to see. I think I might be heading down to Utah County (yes, I know, that's where I said was too far away :lolbang: ) for the weekend. Gotta love Provo Canyon and Sundance!

P.S. swillden, I would love to come otherwise. Were it not for gas prices, a pregnant wife (who would kill me!) and millions of items on my Honey-Do list, I would be there in a heartbeat! Have a great time!

I posted a slide show over here: Link
If you have more pictures than what I put in, feel free to email them to me in 640X480 format: tightgroup -at- comcast.net

I had a really good time with everybody. It never ceases to amaze how cool fellow gun owners are, including ScottyT on the super scooter!

Lots of ammo was shot up in the name of target practice. Clay pigeons and paper zombies met their match!

Hope to do it again this summer. August and September are pretty wide open for us.
