Casings sticking in 22 Magnum revolver

I have a High Standard 22 Mag revolver and the casings stick pretty good in the cylinders after they've been fired. Can anyone tell me whether this is just a "worn out" problem or is it something I can fix or get fixed? I am a machinist so I think I can make some adjustments if I need to, but could it be that the cylinders are just too large due to wear and causing the casings to swell too much?
:dunno:

How often do you maintain the pistol? Are you getting a small amount of oil in the cylinder chambers?
I do clean it after every use but I don't oil the cylinders every time....

Can I run a polishing compound through them without damaging it?
use something like Flitz. It won't take any metal away but will slick things up a little. Don't go too crazy with it though. You aren't looking for a miror finish you just want to enhance the surface.
Super!
Thanks for the advice. I'll try that this evening.
