Sterling is a good guy but he is more of a manager type that Olly was which means he is at his desk more ie. less face time with him. The only thing I have seen bad with their customer service is they dont have enough employees to help with customers like at the Ogden store. Some people I have seen (by comments on gun forums) do not respect a young gun store employee because they are young and therefore in their eyes know nothing. 2 of their current employees are former Marines, 1 employee is a current Army Reserve soldier, and 1 is in the process of becoming a Salt Lake Police officer. What does that mean maybe nothing but I see it as they have some discipline and know a little about what they are talking about even if they are young. As for flaging people with firearms and dropping firearms I have never seen that and I am there at least once every other week.

I mean what are we? Mere civilians?

As for your statement
There are a lot of things that happen that I don't see, doesn't mean they didn't happen.
all I was trying to say is that I am in there alot, alot more than most people and I have not seen that behavior.

I dont know what happend to my last post? I myst have posted but I had nothing to say there and did not intend to post. :dunno:
I am taking every thing with a grain of salt. I really like Doug's (except the range)many do not. The only shop in town I have never herd bad about is Patriot Arms.The bad blood I have with impact is with Olly, The Owner, and BS practices.

Look trough that crap site and you will find others, no customer service on the internet stuff................... Do a web search read the stories

:beathorse: :bang2: I'll get off the soapbox it seams that most of the crowd agrees impact sucks!

was not intended for you but for another poster. So even though Olly is gone you will not go in to see if things have changed with the new management.
For eveyone that has had a problem with the store have you written complaints to the corporate offices? If not then how can you expect them to change their ways? They need input from the customer to improve their service, they are not clairvoyant.

Things have changed my problem is not with employees of that store. Written no called multiple times absolutely, both as a soldier ordering for a unit and as a consumer, stating that I was a deployed soldier in Iraq trying to buy a suppressor that they would have to hold for a year they said sure for X$ am month we will store it for you :puke: They had their fair share of complaints while I was on the other side of their counter, practices as far as I know have not changed. Not a terrible record but not a good one if you know how the BBB works http://utah.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=139&bbb=1166&firm=4001178 almost half gave up the complaints or did not accept resolution.

I made up my mind not to support Dave Vogal, or his buseniss I am not going to beat my head against the wall trying to convince someone who has made up their mind.
