Church Group Seeks Clay Pigeon Outing

My LDS Ward wants to plan a Clay Pigeon shoot. I was asked if I could find out where we might be able to go and what the expense may be. If there are any members who do this regularly could you point me to the right place/places? This Ward is located in the heart of Salt Lake/Murray on 4500 South & 11the East (Approximate address), so we would be looking for the best and easiest to get to from there.
They may need to rent some shotguns for the event too, which I am not sure as to whether any place does this.
I know there are several ranges around which may do this, but is there anywhere besides Lee Kay? My experiences there recently haven't been great and I would want this to be a good event as we have a bit of interest in my Ward, and I would like the experience to be a pleasant positive one for all involved.
Thanks in advance for your insight! :D

Too bad you're not in So Utah, you could use mine. I have church and scout groups use it all the time, it is only one trap house but 5 shooters at a time it goes well with ward groups. We have 75 acres just west of the house that I have it set up on.

Maybe a local trap club would sponser a shoot to attract new members.
Cant help on the location (As I am curious also) but if you want to borrow a shotgun for the day I might be able to. Benelli 12g Pump. PM me if your itnerested.
I usually just go to the west side of Utah Lake. Also, you can get ammo and clay pigeons at Walmart for pretty cheap.
West of Utah lake will work if you stay off of the posted ground, also West of Vernon in little valley is a nice grassy open spot this time of year,it is a bit farther to travel though, I have a thrower that will throw singles or doubles you are welcome to borrow if you want. :auto: :gun9:

Again West side of Utah lake, if you go to the Main St lehi Exit I believe, go left down main St lehi until you hit an Inetrsection that I beleieve is called Sr-68 and turn left. You will drive past all the new housing, Saratoga Springs. Once you are pst the housing you will see plenty of open area you can pull off to shoot in and likely you will see other shooters. Don't let my description fool you, it is not a really short drive, probably at least 15 miles form lehi I would think.
