I'm new to this forum, but I've been carrying every single day for almost the past 2 years. I noticed that the most comfortable method of carrying depends on the gun and ride height. Keep your ride height low. And wear a revolver without the hammer spur. I've been wearing my DAO j-frame on the appendix carry position (1-2'o clock) with the versa carry ZeroBulk holster everywhere I go, and it's so comfortable to the point I can sleep with it on.

Usually outside the waistband at the 4-5 o'clock position if right handed, but you sacrifice full concealability and risk the possibility of someone disarming you from behind. There are drawbacks to every location. Some holsters are better than others at preventing the gun from being drawn rearward which would help prevent such disarming.
