I got the link from THR and thought since I'm waiting for my CCW (hopefully by the end of August) I would join this group too. I just recently got into guns, I mean I've been shooting with my in laws for a few years, but just recently have bought and aquired my own guns.

I bought a Millenium Pro (9mm) for my carry and have a Remington 511 and Winchester 94 30-30 that I inherited. I have 3 kids, 2 of which are into guns (5 and 9) and I'm married - she's getting her CCW too!

We are happy to have you here. If there's anything we can do to help you, or if you have questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, stick around, make yourself at home and post often.

P.S. Could you update your profile to include Logan as your location? It's nice to know where everyone is (generally speaking).

Welcome from another Cache Valley resident. Glad to see our numbers are growing and kudos to your In-Laws for getting you interested and your wife's interest in getting her permit.

p.s. my favorite rifle caliber is the 30-30 in a lever gun.

I tried this last night, but was in a rush and didn't get them sized correctly, so here's what I've got right now, though I think I'm going to disobey orders and purchase a p22 for the wifey this weekend...lol

The Winchester is a blast to shoot and is good condition, the Remington 511 Scoremaster was broken when it was given to me, but after tearing it down and putting it back together it works and is in pretty decent condition for being left in a closet for ~20 years. The Millennium Pro is also a blast to shoot and groups well - albeit low and to left (it's me, I know it's me)...

I'll stick to water, I don't like that boxed milk...my kids think it's the best (even the root beer flavor), to me it's just gross... :lol2:
