"I still sugest Mr Tates class"
What's your deal anyway? By your continued statements you seem to be trying to start some dialogue that would pit me against my friend Terry Tate. This is ill advised, as it will not work.
By the way, am I correct in reading that you took 4 CCW classes? Why take 4 classes? I'm just curious.
Great to have you on board Lance and you should know that I endorse and recommend Terry Tate's CCW classes over many of the other CCW classes offered. In addition Terry is a Hunter Education Instructor, which is a lot of work, and time for very little reimbursement for the same.

My “deal†or point is that Mr. Tate is the only instructor I’ve witnessed that left his ego at the door, and was the only one to keep the class on target (period). I’ve had occasion to talk with “TNT†a couple times where your name came up, so I have a good feel of your friendship with Mr. Tate.
1~ 08/03, Mr. Tate, class time; 4 hrs. at “Doug’sâ€. Purpose, to obtain CFP.
2~ 12/03 or 01/ 04 class time; 2.45 hrs. Unnamed instructor at unnamed Kearns gun shop. Sat in with ex-wives sister because she was afraid of “being hit on†by ‘creepy’ (her words) guys if she went alone. Instructor was kind enough to not charge me, and had some very good points on when to draw/shoot.
3~ Early 04, brother decided to take class at gun show. Class time was 35 min. at best, nothing but macho BS was thought. I refuse to give his name, he gives a bad name to ANYONE (intelligent) who is pro 2 A.
4~ 06/04 While moving friends daughter to Las Vegas, my friend took a UT non-res class that I sat in with. I had a choice of his wife and 4 kids w/2 grandkids, or sit in on a ccw class. M. landener (sp?) was the instructors’ name. .75 hours, I’d assume his NV res is a better class.
If UT requires state training, everyone should get the BEST possible. That’s just my silly way of thinking.
