I am sorry if this is an old thread that I missed, but yes I have. I got a .40 cal barrel for my Glock 20 and it worked fine. I have a .357 Sig barrel for my Glock 29 and it works fine. I have since sold my model 20 and the barrel went with it but it worked fine until then.

The magazines for the 9mm, .357 sig and .40 s&w are the same size for the respective frames and are interchangeable. For example, the G27 (subcompact .40 s&w) will work in a G33 (subcompact .357 sig), but the G33 magazine will not fit in a G23 (compact .40 s&w). I use all G23 magazines as my "back up" magazines as it will fit in both the G23 and G27. It does stick out a bit in the G27, but it functions fine and give me a couple of extra rounds. :)

Correct me if I am wrong but weren't there older models of the Glock that were made to handle 40 but that the 357 Sig pressures were too high? Later versions of the Glock pistols were beefed up to handle the load from what I understand.

Its just been the last year or two that glock decided to correct the problem with the .40's. Their barrels couldn't take the presures of the .40. Check out the FBMG forum. There is a thread about this with a rather graphic pictures of what happened to people when the glock .40 blew up. http://www.fbmg.yuku.com/topic/451

9mm mags are not interchangeable. .40 and .357sig are. .357sig is just a .40 casing necked down.
Let me clarify a bit. The 9mm will take both the .40 s&w and .357 sig magazines, but depending on what generation magazine you have, the 9mm may or may not work in the .40 s&w and .357 sig. The newest generation of 9mm magazines have a follower that has a high bump on it. This bump will prevent it from chambering a round in a .40 s&w or .357 sig. Here are a few photos that show what I'm talking about:

I hope I am not too slow to comment. I have a .357 SiG barrel for my 10mm Glock 29, it works great! I had a Glock model 20 10mm that I got a .40 cal barrel for and it worked great. I had to sell my model 20, it was really too big for my had, much sadness :crying: but I think it got a nice new home.
