Another guy w/ mental history who probably should not have been able to carry a gun. He makes the headlines and unfortunately we will all look bad in the end.

Well for all we know at this point he was in the right for the shooting. This story is really lacking on any details except the shooters past (which doesn't keep him from having a gun or permit) and How many bullets he had (but only 1 did the damage)
Cringe? Maybe however, there were very few details--actually none other than that one bullet hit 3 people. We are left to wonder at all events leading up to the incident. I would say poor reporting at best. The reporter chose to talk about the facts concerning his juvenile record and mental condition and didn't follow through with any details on the incident. His past history was not a problem, the local constabulary are the ones that gave him the permit.
Need Much more info on this one. :dunno:
Thanks for making my point. Correct we don't know all the details and the worst details of it got reported. In the end, this is what makes gun owners look bad. Whether he be right or wrong, justified or not, these are not the issues that were reported.
