WOW. Glad I listened to you guys on this forum and ordered this holster. Just got it today and within seconds of putting in on I was in love. Just adjusted it for the 3rd time and just found the sweet spot. I think I'm in love. Mix in my new XD45 Compact and wow.... I know what and how I will be carrying for a LOOOONNNGGGG time.

That's great! I'm glad you like it! 8)

What were you using before if you don't mind me asking?
Wow, definitely an impressive holster. If that holds my SR9, they just found another customer.

A lot of the other holsters I've glanced at seem a bit bulky; this one doesn't at all. With the adjustments it has, looks like it can be comfortable for anyone.
They will make this holster to fit any gun. You simply tell them at the time of order. It is very adjustable and thats what makes it so nice... you can adjust it to fit whatever. I have been carrying my XD45 Compact in it with a tucked in button up shirt. Very nice and very comfortable even when sitting or driving (which my other was not)

The previous IWB Tuck I was using was a HighNoon IWB tuck holster with my KelTec P11. It was not adjustable at all. It also moved around too much and kind of jabbed me. It was a smaller holster and smaller gun but I think part of why the Crossbreed is so comfortable is because it is bigger. You have a huge piece of leather against your body that really breaks up the feel of the gun in your side. The Crossbreed rides on your belt at 2 points instead of 1. This helps keep the holster in place and puts the weight on 2 parts of your belt instead of 1. I raised my gun as high as possible on the back of the holster then lowered the front a bit so the gun cants forward and WOW. The barrel doesn't jab me now even though it is a longer barrell. The grip doesn't print as much even though it is longer than the KelTec I was carrying. I basically have it canted forward so the tip of the barrell and the bottom of the grip are in a vertical line with each other. I really feels good to me. I did adjust it 3 times before I found the perfect fit but thats the beauty of it... it adjusted to me. I ordered mine with the horsehide option... not sure if that will make that much of a difference, but boy that is some thick tough leather. The leather is molding to my body nicely. I ordered the J-clips also but haven't used them. They still show up on your belt and I figured if I was going to have a visible clip on my belt I wanted the one that put the weight of the holster on my belt and the J-clip doesn't do this. However if I ever have a clip break, I have a backup with the J-clips.

I am very pleased with this holster. It came highly recommended from other members on this forum and it is because of them I bought it. So thanks to the others that recommended it to me.

Thank you for the recommendation. I ordered mine today. I ordered the horse-hide, natural color, deluxe. After it comes, I'd be happy to also add my review and photos.

I got my Super Tuck holster in the mail the other day. It is very comfortable :D to wear around the house, but I will have to wait and see what it feels like to wear all day when my permit finally gets here  (hopefully soon).
No reason that you couldn't wear it without the gun for a while...
Here's a couple of pics of mine - got mine in black with the J-hooks. I'm thinking about getting their gun belt with the V-hooks (velcro for super-deep concealment).

I ordered mine with the standard hooks. Am I going to be alright?

Yes. I ordered both and haven't even bothered putting the J-clips on. I wear a tucked in shirt all day. Nobody notices the standard clips anyway. Besides if they will notice the standard clips they will also notice the J-clips as they still loop under and onto your belt and are still visible. The standard clips also allow the holster to ride on your belt rather than on your pants like the J-clips.

Great - thank you!
I just ordered one as well. Looks pretty sweet, and from the reviews everyone is liking it. I usually use an Uncle Mike's IWB. For the most part I like it quite a bit, some of my pants have belt loops in a place where it isn't the most comfy for carry, so hopefully this new holster will terminate the problem. I had a Highnoon holster for a while, and didn't like it at all, not very comfy, and the pistol moved around all the time. Highly annoying. :x But I can't wait for the Crossbreed!

I always worried about someone seeing my standard clips. I think I'll give it a try cuz some of my pants don't do so well with the J-hooks anyways, not bad, just not great.

If someone were to ask you what the clips were, what would you say? I tried to think of some excuses but I don't think they'll work.

Input anyone?

That's actually good to know. When I was first shopping for holsters, I was comparing Highnoon with the CrossBreed. Almost bought the Highnoon one cuz it was cheaper. Then that "you get what you pay for" logic kicked in and I never looked back! :shades:

First of all, it's VERY unlikely anyone will even notice, let alone ask. Of those that are familiar enough with you to ask, are there any that you wouldn't want to let know that you're carrying?

I can't really recommend anything other than "cell phone" or "pager". If it were me, I'd just say, "Oh, they're for my gun holster" and see what happens. If you're really worried about it, you could actually wear a pager, phone, leatherman, key clip, etc. over at least one of them. Or even a second, thinner belt that goes over the clips.

BTW, I have the J-hooks for my Supertuck and I do think they are much less noticeable than the standard clips. To me, they look much more like a cell phone clip than the regular clips do.
If anyone asks about the clips, tell them its a medical device and you'd rather not talk about it.

Tell 'em they hold your urinary bag system in place.
So, my Crossbreed holster came in the mail today. I ordered mine on April 3, 2008, and it arrived on April 21, 2008.

Everyone has seen the photos with just the weapon. I decided to take some while wearing it.

My first few hours with it on have been very comfortable. Standing/walking, I don't even feel that it's there, and sitting, it feels like a nice lower-back brace. I'll go out in public with it today - gotta do some errands to the post office, etc :shades:

I use it for my XD-45 4" Service:

Thanks for all of the recommendations!

Ah, but you're not actually tucking into the SuperTuck in those photos yet.
That's the real test. The real advantage of a SuperTuck is that you can wear a dress shirt, tucked in, and it is concealed.

Let us know how that goes.

Ah! I'll get back to you on that then :) Time for those errands, and by tomorrow we should have some SuperTucking photos.

Thanks -
