I was looking at getting some to supplement classes. Anyone else use these for some instruction? Any favorites? I was looking at the Clint Smith, Jeff Cooper, and other's. Any other recommendations?

I have Fighting Pistol, Fighting Rifle, and Shooting Missology from James Yeager at Tactical Response and I highly recommend them. A little word of warning, Yeager is a self described "Good ol' boy from Tennesse" so he isn't afraid to say what's on his mind, but if you listen with an open mind you will learn a lot. The link to his gear shop is below.

I am going to check into these DVD's by Gabe Suarez. He too isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. Here's the link to Gabe's Videos.

Clint Smith has also come out with some DVD's as well. I checked Strategic Tactical Group, but I didn't see anything.
Thanks for the extra info. I'm kinda leaning the Clint Smith way, lol I see him on Personnel Defense TV and he does a great job explaining the in's and out's of what he is demostrating at the time. I will definitely checkout the other's as well.

No, My opinion is common and shared by many. The man can shoot but I have a hard time believing all "accuracy results" he has published. He has had fallouts with many publications and rarely gets a gun test type article published anymore. He is a gifted writer who analyzes dramatizes actual events and draws a little conclusion on the "lesson." Mr. Ayoob makes himself out to be the know all and end all authority as an "expert" witness, martial everything, legal expert, and some kind of guru of combat. To much of what he has written just doesn't ring true to me, let alone people I do know personally with good credentials one of whom has worked with Ayoob. While I am sure he could teach me a thing or two I am also sure
there are more credible sources out there.

Heres a link to an article about his credibility
