Been looking around since PDO went down. For your PDO members, I'm the same nxiv. Yes it's down for the count. I have been informed that the hosting company has confirmed that Mark Solomon has canceled the hosting contract for PDO. Between the zero bandits, server stability and him working on getting his JD it probably wasn't worth his time to run anymore.

I'm a firearm enthusiast of many years. Bought my first one when I was living in San Diego and now I have over a couple of dozen hand guns and four long guns in my collection. I buy a few each year. I've lived in Clark County NV since Sept 1992 and haven't sent foot in any jurisdiction that does not honor my assortment of CCWs in years.

I'm an NRA, ND and UT certified instructor. I'm primarily a traveling instructor and will travel to most jurisdictions that honor a FL, ND or UT CCW if there's enough interest to justify my time and expenses.

Oh I also have some good news for UT CFP holders if you haven't read it elsewhere. Your CFP is valid in Nevada as of Oct 1, 2007. SB237 passed last legislative session and UT made the recognition list; see the NV DPS link for the list.

UT is the only non-resident CCW that made the list. The only residency requirement is that you must not be a NV resident. New NV residents must get a NV CFP within 60 days of declaring residency in the State. So please come to Las Vegas, spend money and keep my property and sales taxes down. :)

I find it's cheaper to just mail a check to Carson City when I get the urge to visit LV or Wendover.

I noted your post regarding the child care exception to carrying in (some) casinos or hotels. Thanks for pointing that out!

Glad to have you here. I frequented PDO and I'm glad now that it is gone that this site is growing.
Welcome to our forum! That's great news about Nevada. We're now surrounded by states in which we can carry.

Thanks for joining us and introducing yourself.
