Expanding Full Metal Jacket

I read an article about the EFMJ load from Federal and was curious if any of you have carried or shot this load. It sounds like it will have more positive expansion regardless of the surface it impacts since expansion is not relying upon the cavity filling with tissue and not denim or anything else.

Anyway if you have any experience with this round I'd sure like to hear about it. Thanks

look into the pow'r ball rounds, they tend to feed better than jhps due to the polymer ball above the hollow area. the metal jacket goes all the way up so only the top of the ball is seen but they expand like a hollow point.
The Winchester Ranger SXT also expands pretty well.

This might be an answer to the problem of my Bersa Thunder 380 having fits with JHP. The bullet catches at the bottom of the feed ramp. I will search online but would you happen to have a link to a website concerning them?

Very interesting stuff. I wonder if I could find them around town or maybe I should order directly from Corbon.

Thanks for the info.
