extreme carry

I thought it would be interesting to hear from you all about the most extreme situations in which you have carried. What I mean by that is has anyone here carried while rock climbing? skydiving? playing football? kayaking? waterskiing?, etc.

Probably not exactly what you're looking for, but I lawfully brought my weapon to Yellowstone Park last week. It would have been illegal to carry, so it's a good thing I kept it locked in my car at all times. With all of the bear activity and two very small children, there was no way I wasn't going to have a weapon available.

EDITED: for non-incrimination
I carry while running 3 to 3 1/2 miles each and every day. Is that extreme?

I've carried on every single scout camp and hike this past summer, which totaled about 20 miles through some pretty rugged country.
And here's a photo I got of a bear last week. I was pretty close, but if thing would have gone bad, I could have easily outrun about 100 Japanese tourists who were next to me.

Lets see;

I've carried on a 50 mile bike hike with the scouts.

I've carried whild playing basketball

I've carried while climbing big rocks

I've carried on a wilderness canoe trip....

If you don't mind telling, what gun and carry method did you use?

Ok, I used my version of "Smart Carry" while playing basketball, which is a soft cloth panckake holster, and a cloth webb belt. It holds my 1911 or my taurus 617, with an extra mag or speed loader. When I was playing basketball I was carying the Taurus 617 .357 Snubby.

The other three times I was also carrying my Taurus 617 .357 mag snubby, but this time in a hip pack, (I don't like to call them fanny packs)

I have carried my full sized 1911 to some pretty strange places too, but that is another story. :D

Generally for active carry, when it must be concealed, then it is deep concealment, or hip pack.

Thanks

I was gonna say "No,no" to National Park carry but due to Bear Activity...I would agree.

It seems to me that the Second Ammendment pre-dates the formation of the National Park System.

Yeah, we were camping in a tent on the remote edge of one of their campsites when my 5 month old starts crying and I realized his cry sounds exactly like a distressed rabbit predator call. I'm sure we attracted every predator in a square mile. :D

The day before we went camping, they had two bears in the elementary school playground in Ashton, Idaho not far from Yellowstone. And there were grizzly bear maulings near the park the week before. Needless to say, I was a little nervous entrusting the security of my tent to the park ranger sleeping 2 miles away.
