Just moved to Utah this month after separating from the Air Force (stationed at Offutt AFB, NE)

My best friend has been slowly grabbing my interest into guns of all types, and with the allowing laws here in Utah, I'm on my way to packing :)

Just put a Ruger SR9 on hold while I work on getting my UT driver's license, and then I'll work on that CFP :)

I'm glad I found this forum!

I read an article in Handguns about that Ruger going through a 15,000 round torture test over the course of 2 days, and it got an AWESOME review. Glad you found us. Now get your permit ASAP!!! The world needs more good guys!

Thanks for the welcomes :)

Yeah, I originally was looking at a Glock 19, but after I found out about this gun, I started my research. Holding the gun was beautiful, and the ambidextrous controls were great since I'm a lefty :p

The worst I've heard about the SR9 is a stiff magazine and gritty trigger pull, but I've read that that clears up just fine with use, making this a great piece of work. The slim size and the 17+1 cap made me feel like this was my perfect CC pistol :)
