Wow, another incidence like this in a little over a week? Interesting article however, very little has been disclosed. I would like to see more whenan update shows up. It certainly doesn't portray police in a good light, or carry - whether open or concealed. :?

Hmmm. The officer who was not identified as the aggressor in this confrontation was in uniform in a marked police car.

The other off-duty officer couldn't have mistaken that! Not only that but the aggressor was said to have been in a physical confrontation with a woman in a convertible before the shootout. She was injured. Something's not right in this case. I wonder how accurate the article is (they usually aren't very accurate at all).

Jeff, I agree with the view that something is missing here. My wife and I are always noticing "odd" stories that "just don't seem right" and comment to each other that "something is missing"... quite often we later find out that in fact several key elements were left out of the original story... and once those elements were learned, the story suddenly made a lot more sense.

The media does suck.
