when these guys moved in close to my work neighborhood in murray i was excited.
my first visit was great, lots of cool guns and a very clean range.
i've been back probably 4-5 times since then. they never cease to leave me feeling unsatisfied as a customer.
-one time my dad and i went to shoot on the range. we normally use tape so that we can re-use targets. my dad and i first searched for tape out in the range. after we didn't find any my dad asked the guy at the register. the answer my dad got was "there's some out there".
-range prices are expensive.
-i got charged for eye and ear protection
-mostly i feel ignored while i'm there

any positive experiences out there? i haven't had any yet and they are running out of chances.

The guy behind the counter in the front was not very friendly. I stood their about 15 minutes and he didnt even say 'I will be right with you'. He was talking to this guy and would randomly jump on the phone, and was pretty rude to the guy anyway.

I have been their once and so far so good. The guy behind the rental/range counter was pretty cool. It was busy that day so I had to wait for a range, no biggy. Yeah it is pricey but $8 vs $12 makes up for it in proximity. ~3 blocks to ~8 miles (Dougs) in my truck is a big difference.

If you want tape and eye and ear protection, bring your own. Every range bag should have these items in the bag to begin with! Of course they will charge you if you don't have them.

As far as expensive, I guess customers decide that.

Being ignored seems to be a common problem in almost all gun stores.

There is one butthead there, at least till you get to know him. Mike, not a social butterfly, to be mm euphemistic. I like most of the employees and am on a first name basis with a few of them.

That said their prices suck.

If you don't like the service come over to FBMG. Its a little drive to Draper but we try to make it worth it. Everyone is friendly, we are also putting in a range, ect. Give it a shot anyway.
I will deffinately be heading to your place more often once the range is in. Get Some is so incredibly close to my residence I cant say no.

I thought is was fbmginc.com, but that's not working.

Hopefully he'll post the correct link soon.

It is fbmginc.com
They are working on a whole new site with a check out cart and everything. It should be about another week until it is up. Keep checking it guys.
If you're looking for something and not finding it there mention it to Larry or James (the owners). One of them is always there.
