Apparently this only applies to company-owned stores and not to independently owned franchises. I've never noticed a sign at the one I give (or possibly GAVE) my business to, but will check next time I drive by.

Companies cannot bar armed off-duty LEO from their businesses, can they? Isn't there a state law against this?

I'm not to worried about it since their signs are only good as toilet paper here. I have yet to see a sign posted at any Goodyear here so I'm guessing they know the signs are worthless here and so are not wasting their money.
