Even though I live in Spanish Fork I'm not really a ******* and I've never made out with my sister. I'm originally from Orem and have only lived in SF for about a year, not nearly long enough to justify wearing a stetson, Tony Llama boots or buying a 1979 Ford pickup.

I'm new to the forums (big surprise I know). I'm a big fan of guns and have had my carry card since 2003, but got my "national permit" last September.

Here's my collection.
Rock River Arms Tactical CAR A4 .223, stock w/ sling
Remington 870 w/ ext mag tube, Surefire 618FA weaponlight, and TacStar side saddle
DPMS Panther AP4 .223 w/ bottom rail, vertical grip, Hogue grip, sling & Surefire G2

Handguns Left to Right
Springfield XDSC OD .40S&W
Glock 22 w/ TLR-1 and Hogue Handall
Kahr CW40 w/ Handall Jr.
Walther P22, stock

Now THAT is the way to introduce yourself. The pics where great.

On your DPMS is that the foregrip from cheaperthandirt that cost like $12.00? It looks exactly like the one on my DPMS I bought there....I couldn't believe how nice it was for the money. Great collection.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

PW, it looks like it is the same grip as the one on cheaperthandirt. I actually purchased mine on e-bay for about $15.00 or so. It's been a great little handle. I just got a pressure switch and a P61 lamp for my G2, and the pressure switch fits perfectly into the vertical grip. All that gear is going to be moving to my RRA soon, and I'm going to setup the DPMS with an optic and bipod for a long range target gun.

One of your first posts and you used pics! +$5 into your pic account.

See, generally, when someone tells me about a new gun and they don't post pics, I fine them with a hypothetical $5. :D

Welcome to the forum. Hope you add much and enjoy your stay.

Here is some information to explain the National Carry for Police Program:

USC’s “Firearms” Section 926 to include Sections 926B and 926C, covers both current and retired law enforcement officers who have (or had) the statutory power of arrest. Those who choose to carry concealed must not be under the influence of an “intoxicating” substance or prohibited by federal law from carrying a firearm; they must also meet all state qualification standards (retired officers must have qualified within the last 12 months).

Section 926B further requires qualified, currently employed law enforcement officers to carry proper photographic identification from their issuing agency; to be agency authorized to carry firearms; and to not be under agency disciplinary action at the time they choose to carry. Section 926C requires retired officers to carry photographic identification and qualification credentials issued by their former agency, or two forms of photographic ID â€" the first showing that they retired from a particular agency; the second showing that they have met state firearm qualification standards within the last 12 months.

Retired officers must also have retired “in good standing” â€" and not as the result of “mental instability” â€" from a law enforcement agency. They must have been regularly employed law enforcement officers for 15 or more total years, or retired before 15 years due to service-related disability. Finally, their right to retirement benefits must be “nonforfeitable” which, Nowicki says, means they weren’t fired or forced to resign.

Oh, I see. I do remember when that passed recently (over the objections of anti-gun extremists). However, I didn't see any indication in opskmallory's post that he was a current or former LEO.

opskmallory, that's a very nice collection you've got there. Kudos for showing off pics of your collection in your introductory post!
