·I fairly recently got my license and carry an XD40SC during the summer. XD40 Service when the weather's cooler because I like the wider sight index.
I would like to see our state shift to unrestricted carry laws for all the reasons listed on the USSC web site: http://www.utahshootingsports.com/usscccw.htm Something like "Anyone can carry here and if you want a license, here's one -- just for reciprocity's sake."
I think it's silly that people have to beg permission from the state to exercise an inalienable human right. Especially when the criminally dangerous will carry regardless of what people up on capitol hill say. To me, it's like having to get a license to go to sacrament meeting or a permit to write an article for the news paper.
On a less politically-ranty side, I also study martial arts as a hobby and like to design and develop (admittedly crude and simplistic) video games in my spare time.
