Hope I can make time to go. I've been somewhat disappointed at the last couple. The prices for the things I've been most interested in haven't been any better than I can get without paying the gun show entrance fee. But dummy me, I keep hoping to find that great deal.

Well I will most definitely be there. I will have a booth where I will be selling knives, mostly folders, for SRC Knives. I encourage patrons of this site to attend, stop by & chat or purchase a knife as a back up just in case.
Mostly though, this will be a good opportunity to meet some of my fellow packers & enjoy the show.
See You There! :D

I didn't see anyone in a Kilt, but my sister did. I was in the first booth on the southwest end of the show. Knife sales were a huge bust for the majority of the dealers over that weekend--I mean, real bad. I even heard one dad tell his 8 & 9 year old boys, "No, we don't touch those things." That got me to wondering why the heck the guy was even at the the show?
My girlfriend wasn't raised around guns and never fired one before. She got up the courage to come and spend the day with me. She is a bit more comfortable around them now--so thanks to all you good people who were so well behaved! I took her over to the training booth and had her fire at the simulator and she did fine. The range is next. At least she has no trouble with them and is comfortable around me while carrying.
Jeff, call me so we can get together and discuss a picnic. We really need to come up with a good site and a # to plan for. At this moment I have no idea what we could expect, and I would hope we could start making this a yearly event. My daytime # (best one to leave a message or reach me) is:
801-587-6561
Call soon.

Yeah when Jeff seen me, I'd actually returned to buy a knife. Unfortunately the traffic sucked eggs & I got there about 5-10 minutes late to get in.

There was a guy over on the south side (possibly near you) selling what appeared to be non-military M9 bayonets with loooong blades.
I have a custom bayo. mount on my Russian shoty for that type of bayo. & wanted to get one of the long ones for it.
Oh well, it's not like I can't live without one. I've still got the army issue one.
