I didn't see anyone in a Kilt, but my sister did. I was in the first booth on the southwest end of the show. Knife sales were a huge bust for the majority of the dealers over that weekend--I mean, real bad. I even heard one dad tell his 8 & 9 year old boys, "No, we don't touch those things." That got me to wondering why the heck the guy was even at the the show?
My girlfriend wasn't raised around guns and never fired one before. She got up the courage to come and spend the day with me. She is a bit more comfortable around them now--so thanks to all you good people who were so well behaved! I took her over to the training booth and had her fire at the simulator and she did fine. The range is next. At least she has no trouble with them and is comfortable around me while carrying.
Jeff, call me so we can get together and discuss a picnic. We really need to come up with a good site and a # to plan for. At this moment I have no idea what we could expect, and I would hope we could start making this a yearly event. My daytime # (best one to leave a message or reach me) is:

Call soon.
