So, who made it to the crossroads gun show this weekend (april 29-30)?

I know it's sometimes the same-old thing, but it was fun anyway. Two of my friends bought glocks, one his first gun. I just bought a couple smaller things, including another ar mag.

...on purpose. Not that I don't enjoy going. But I have a long-standing habit of buying a new gun whenever I go to the gun show. I'm saving my pennies for a particular gun, and I don't want to be tempted by anything else. Where guns are concerned, I'm weak-willed.

Don't worry, there weren't any spectacular ammo deals, and I got there within an hour of opening. Everything firearms and ammo seemed on par. There were some good deals on mags and bags, and other stuff. I might pick up a tac vest next time around :D.

I gotta cramped and sore back and legs but was able to get away from the table long enough to buy a wallet and a new buttstock for my FAL.

I didn't make it time around. I spent my saturday at the Republican Nominating Convention, where I was running for senate. Afterwards I was too exhausted, and broke (from all my own contributions to my campaign) to be able to afford to go. I will definitely be going to the next one though!

I wanted to go this time, but had a choice. I could finish preparing to relocate, including going to the west side of Utah Lake to blast all my 2-liter bottles of water (didn't want to haul them to Cache Valley), or I could go to the gun show. I chose to have a fun family outing to shoot the 2-liter bottles.
