I agree that the article was fairly well balanced. I would like to expound upon a few facts that weren't mentioned in the article, which would probably surprise a few people.
Judges already illegally carry weapons under their robes. I've gotten that from people who have clerked for them here in Utah. They declined, however, to reveal who these specific judges were. (and to think, if I walk into the courthouse with a legal weapon (sans permit) I would be looked at like a criminal--Hmmm!
Tougher gun law restrictions do increase crimes & violence. After all, what do the criminal eliment have to fear from the common citizen when they obey the law, and are left defenseless?
Ridalin and other prescribed psychotic drugs, such as prozac, are directly responsible for the derangement of the Columbine shooters, the Red Lake incident & all other mass shootings over the last ten or more years. These drugs literally destroy the mind & take away basic reasoning skills as they change who you are. Lets face it, today we live in a society that says the pill (or presciption drug) will cure your problems. Has anyone else noticed the dozen or more "side effects" which are casually thrown out during the commercials advertising these products. It is enough to make me sick!
I guess I've ranted on long enoug. But all of these things are true. If you don't believe me, just do the research on your own & you will see how right I am.
