I've had my permit for over a year now, but I just recently acquired a weapon that I can conceal and carry. I've had a Baby Eagle .40 for a long time, but there was no way I could take that with me anywhere except to leave it in my truck. Sooooo with a little prodding I finally got my wife to let me pickup a gun i've had my eye on for a while. The Kahr CW9. A sweet little thing, very slim and light. Picked it up at gunnies on sale last month. It was awesome. Initally I wanted to get a .40, however the last .40 poly frame i shot the thing just about jumped out of my hand, so I opted to go with the 9. Now i'm wishing i'd gotten the .40! Shooting +p ammo and it's still not bad. Shoots like my baby eagle .40, which made me think I could handle the .40 in the Kahr. Oh well. :)

Anyhow, I've got more than just the 2 pistols, i've also got an AK-47, a Kentucky style Black Powder musket that I built from a kit, a black powder revolver, and a black powder single shot. My next gun will be 12 guage.

By trade I'm a self employed software developer.

well.. That's me I guess.

Welcome!!

It's so great to see so many people joining on. I'm just a newbie myself. This is a great place to learn about applicable gun laws!

You'd be surprised what you can fit in your pants!!! I shot my buddies baby eagle a month or so ago and it seems like is was about the same size as my XD45 compact, which I carry every day IWB. Anyway hope that first sentance didn't come out wrong... Oh yeah, have fun and post often.

Yeah, I probably could carry it, but with an all metal frame, and a 12 rnd mag, it's pretty heavy. Not sure I would really want to, though I suppose i could. :)
