My name is Jon,
I am an army combat vet 5+ years active, MP, K9, and a few other assignments. I have one Iraq and one GITMO tour. I also have some short term memory loss, torn rotator cuff, hip flexor, ACL, MCL, maniscus, flat feet and a bad back. I have a small class 3 collection. Rifles other than semis and FA that shoot more than 1 MOA are tent stakes. Semi rifles that shoot more than 1.5 MOA are pretty much the same. My interests are pretty much defensive handgun. I have a decent amount of both civilian and military firearms training. I shot about six-thousand rounds last year. I would not call myself a survivalist but, I believe in being prepared. I am not a right wing conspiracy nut but, there is alot I don't agree with my government on.

I worked for Impact guns, I hate that company and its practices and will no longer do business with them. I also dislike Barlows custom guns and refuse to do business with them.

I like the Counterterrism Institute of America, and I have taken several of Dennis' courses. http://www.combat-terror.com/courses.html. I also like FBMG, Get Some, Patriot Arms, Galenson's, Doug's, and Lock Stock and Barrel. (just to prove I like more local companies than I hate.)

Thank you for your forum I look forward to chatting with and meeting with some people here

First, welcome to the forum. Now would you be kind enough to enlighten this novice as to what "MOA" means and what a "small class 3 collection" consists of please? I am a novice to these acronyms. Maybe the admin of the site could create a section that explains them.

MOA minute of angle 1/60th of a degree or about an inch every hundred yards. http://home.swipnet.se/longrange/glossary_of_terms.htm

Class three is a bit of a misnomer that is a classification of dealer that sells machine guns, short barreled rifles, short barreled shotguns, AOW any other weapons, and in some cases destructive devices, wich range from some shotguns to mortars M203s ect.

Sorry, but I will not post whats in my collection in a forum.

welcome...thanks for your service.
at least tell us what you carry.

as for me, i carry and XD .40 compact IWB. i am also thinking of a subcompact XD 40 to put on my ankle when i need to conceal a little better.
I carry a Kahr P9 mostly in a Fist tuckable kydex. Sometimes two Kahr P9s in a double shoulder rig.:D Once in a while a SIG 226 in a Galco hi ride. A big pocket knife (6 inch ti-lite) and most of the time I have something a little more serious in the trunk

Lock Stock and Barrel is that Gunsmith who works out of his house up around 70th south and 20th east ish?

Anyway I like Get Some, and FBMG and I love Galenson's. Doug's is on my list of companies with whom I will not do business.

[EDITED BY MODERATOR - Even if it was in jest (and I'm assuming that it was in jest), a threat is not tolerated. Please explain or retract. -- Jeff]

Anyway greetings...
