As my introduction, I am the owner of Graco Models. We make brass catchers, shooting vises and custom targets. The black 8" bullseyes that "halo" at the Lee Kay Center are ours.
Also, I am one of the long time "nazis" from out there. Unfortunately, I have helped perform CPR on a young man who accidentally shot himself in the head on their big bore range. I come by the attitude honestly.
Been lurking for a while, and thought it's time to get involved.
I have been a CCW holder since 1994.

Yes, it was before "shall issue" There were more hoops to jump thru, and you had to have a "reason". Mine was I started work in a bad area of town at 4:00 am and the guard behind the desk wasn't armed. I caught the guy at BCI in a good mood. There was more paperwork to submit, and turnaround wasn't nearly as fast as it is now.

This happened in the early 90's. Marlin was running a summer biathalon league all over the country. To make a very long story short, this man overextended himself running. Think about it, run 5000 meters, then try to hold steady and shoot. As he was firing his last shot in his second string, he fainted while holding a .22 rifle in the offhand position. The rifle came down, rested the muzzle under his chin, and went off. He was dead when he fell into a buddy's arms. It was an accident, but I've never forgotten it.

Do you make target stands (that can be thrown in a trunk) for NRA D1 targets?
