Hi All,
New guy here. Lurker by nature :p I just found this place from a USSC (Utah Shooting Sports Council) email alert.
I'm also coprtoppe at the following forums if interested:
warriortalk
gunsnet
keepandbeararms
wdsaonline
and others...

I'm hoping to find some airsoft force-on-force training partners this summer. Received some excellent training in January and need to put it to the test.

Thanks,
Tony

Ah-Ha! You have deciphered the source of my handle...

The Polite Society guys have started doing this.
You put on protective gear and run through various possible self-defense type senarios using airsoft pistols and trainer knives (or hand-to-hand combatives) in order to test methods and tactics. Someone plays the bad guy(s), and someone plays the CCW guy.

I looked for some YouTube clips of this, but didn't see anything that portrayed it to my satisfaction. I will keep looking.

Welcome.
I thought your handle deciphered to Robert Toppe, LEO.

Guess it comes from being a child of the Matrix generation. :gun9:
Welcome aboard, sounds like some nice training.

Thanks all for the welcome.

The training itself was all live-fire, but I'm hoping to test and refine it through FOF (force-on-force).

Nope, not LEO. Not that there is anything wrong with that... :p

I never thought about it sounding like that though...

Welcome to our forum! Thanks for introducing yourself.

Please give is a bit more info. Are you getting a Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) or currently have one? Do you carry a firearm for self-defense? If so, what do you like to carry?

Stick around and participate. This is a great place.

Had my CFP since about 1999 I think (will be on my second renewal next year). Usually carry a G27 in a Kydex AIWB or a SmartCarry, or a Polish P-64 in Makarov caliber in a leather Don Hume open top at appendix or at 4:00 position - and sometimes both.

Glad I found this place.
