Howdy all!
Just wanted to say hello. I googled packin' in Utah and found an article done by Deseret News--someone posted this website--I decided I should join up.
I didn't grow up around guns--at all. My parents still think they are rediculous even though my dad grew up on a farm in Idaho. (he's a big corporate guru now)
However, I decided one day about a year and a half ago, that I wanted to take responsibility for my safety--I checked out packing.org--bought a 9 mm xD, bought a range membership, took CCW class, and now I carry, open and concealed, everywhere I go--except work. I'll open another thread about that--I'd like to get some opinions about me not carrying at my work.
I have since bought a 7" .22 S&W just for plinkin', a 3" .40 xD but have since sold it--I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it LOL--and I just bought my first shotgun last month as my uncle introduced me last year to skeet shooting and I got tired of using his shotguns, I absolutely love it--need to find somewhere to shoot the shotgun on a regular basis though.
Thank you to those that are responsible to the upkeep of this site and I hope to gain a much greater respect for my right to carry--made possible by those who came before me.

Welcom to the forum, I guarantee you will learn everything you wanted to know and if you have any questions it can be answered here... WELCOME ABOARD.
All you can do is practice. I knew a guy who couldn’t hit the side of a barn if he was standing inside it.
